Getting started
What is LISTLAH?
LISTLAH is a Singapore marketplace where people and local businesses buy and sell electronics, phones, furniture, fashion, home appliances, hobby items, cars and more. Buyers contact sellers directly, and listings are organised by category and by area, from Ang Mo Kio to Woodlands.
Is LISTLAH free to use?
Browsing, searching and contacting sellers is free. Posting a basic listing is free, within the listing allowance for its category. Optional promotions and the LISTLAH Pro subscription are paid; current prices are shown on the Pricing page.
Do I need an account?
You can browse and search without an account. You need a free account to post a listing, save favourites, message sellers and leave reviews.
Which areas does LISTLAH cover?
All of Singapore. Search the whole island, a region such as the East or North-East, or a planning area such as Tampines, Jurong West or Queenstown. Listings show the seller's area, not their home address.
Buying safely
How do I contact a seller?
Open the listing and use the contact options the seller has turned on, such as LISTLAH chat. Keep the conversation on LISTLAH: it keeps a record if anything goes wrong, and our safety checks can warn you about known scam patterns.
How can I avoid scams?
Never pay a deposit for an item you have not seen, never share a one-time password (OTP) or your banking login, and be wary of sellers who push you to another chat app, insist on PayNow before meeting, or offer prices far below market. If in doubt, check with ScamShield (scamshield.gov.sg) and report the listing to us.
What should I check before buying a used car?
Check the vehicle's details and COE expiry with LTA (OneMotoring), make sure the seller is the registered owner or an authorised dealer, ask whether there is an outstanding car loan, inspect the car in daylight and consider an independent inspection. Complete the transfer of ownership through LTA before or at payment.
What should I check before renting or buying property?
Only deal with a property agent who is registered with the Council for Estate Agencies (check the CEA Public Register), view the unit in person, and never transfer a deposit before you have seen the property and the documents. Be careful with listings that show prices well below the area's market rate.
Does LISTLAH handle payments between buyers and sellers?
No. LISTLAH connects buyers and sellers but does not take part in their deals or hold money for either side. Agree on payment directly with the other person and only pay once you have the item, or meet in person and pay on the spot.
Selling & posting
How do I post a listing?
Sign in, tap Post, choose a category and your area, add a clear title, an honest description, your price and real photos, then publish. Most listings go live straight away; some are checked first.
How many listings can I post?
Each category has its own monthly listing allowance and a limit on how many listings can be active at the same time. Allowances are higher for verified sellers and for sellers with a good track record. Your dashboard shows how much of each allowance you have left.
How long does my listing stay up?
Listings expire after a period set for their category, for example sooner for cars and property than for furniture or fashion. We remind you before a listing expires so you can renew it if the item is still available or mark it as sold.
Why was my listing held for review or removed?
Listings are checked against our Marketplace Rules: prohibited or restricted items, counterfeit goods, duplicates of an existing listing, and signs of fraud. If a listing is held, we review it; if it is removed, we tell you why and what you can change.
What am I not allowed to sell?
Illegal or restricted items such as weapons, drugs, vapes and e-cigarettes, prescription medicines, stolen goods, counterfeit or replica products, fake documents and accounts, among others. Read the Prohibited Items Policy before you post.
Pricing & payments
How much does it cost to post a listing?
A basic listing is free within your category allowance. Paid options are promotions (Bump, Featured and Spotlight), which give a listing extra visibility, and LISTLAH Pro for frequent sellers. Prices are in Singapore dollars and shown on the Pricing page before you pay.
What do promotions do?
Bump moves your listing back up the results, Featured shows it in featured places, and Spotlight gives it the most prominent placement for a set time. Promotions increase visibility but do not guarantee a sale, and they never override our safety checks.
How do I pay for promotions?
Through a secure third-party payment provider shown at checkout. LISTLAH never sees or stores your full card number. If the payment is processed in a currency other than SGD, the converted amount is shown before you pay.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, if you were charged twice or in error, or if a paid service was not delivered. Promotions that have already started and promotional credits are not refundable. See the Refund Policy for details.
Account & privacy
How do I reset my password?
On the login page, choose Forgot password, enter the email address on your account and follow the link we send you.
What does the Verified badge mean?
Badges show which checks a seller has completed, such as a verified email address and Singapore mobile number. A badge is only shown for a check that was actually completed, and it is not a guarantee about a particular deal.
How is my personal data used?
We use your data to run the marketplace, keep it safe and improve it, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act. We never sell your personal data. What you put in a listing is public. See the Privacy Policy or contact our Data Protection Officer.
How do I access, correct or delete my data?
You can update most details in your account settings and delete your account from your dashboard. To ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or erasure of remaining data, use the Privacy Centre or email our Data Protection Officer.
How do I report a listing or a user?
Use Report on the listing or the seller's profile. Reports go to our moderation team and help remove scams, counterfeits and listings that break the rules.
